The housing was milled out of a solid piece of Delrin. A pair of SubConn 5-pin bulkhead connectors are mounted in the endcap, one going to the MicroSquid-c and one as a spare.

A mounting plane was attached to one endcap, and supported by a disc on the other end. The battery PCB mounts on one side of this plane and the logger on the reverse side.

The housing and connectors represent the largest cost for the logger, though still a much smaller cost than the MicroSquid. I am looking for ways to source a cheaper, prefab housing, for example a SCUBA waterproof canister like this. That would get the canister cost down to $295, with connectors adding another $200 or so.
