🌱 I'm currently a student taking my MS degree in Computer Science from De La Salle University under its integrated bachelor's-master's degree honors program.
🔭 At the DLSU Bioinformatics Lab, my work is currently at the intersection of data science and biology, with a focus on the analysis of large-scale metagenomic sequence data in the profiling of antimicrobial resistance and mobile genetic elements.
🧬 In Philippine Genomics Center, I implemented a start to end bioinformatics pipeline to annotate LTR retrotransposons in Abaca and Banana genomes and align RNA-seq data from drought- and tissue culture stressed samples.
🚀 Throughout the years, I have been involved in a mix of data science and machine learning research projects, i.e. fuel prediction, global school-based student health survey data, car plate detection systems.
📈 In 2024, I was an Operations and Technology Innovations intern at Procter and Gamble where I pioneered a tracking system to monitor solution deployment across 1,000+ global manufacturing plants using Microsoft SQL and PowerBi. I also led the development of a C# web application for plant maintenance operations with integrated SSO-authentication and eliminate over 100 hours of accumulated technical debt.
