This page holds the latest files you need to run Ravana.
On the GitHub page, look for the Releases section. This area contains the installation files.
- If you see a file ending with
.exe, you can download that file directly. It is the installer. - If there are ZIP files, download the one matching your system (usually Windows x64). You will need to extract it after downloading.
Click the file name to start the download. Wait for the download to finish before moving on.
- If you downloaded an
.exefile, double-click it and follow the on-screen prompts to install Ravana. - If you downloaded a ZIP file, right-click on it and choose Extract All. Pick a folder you will remember.
Find the Ravana program icon on your desktop or in the folder where you installed or extracted it.
Double-click the icon to open the app. Give it a moment to load, especially if it is your first time running it.
Once Ravana is running, you can start swapping faces with a few simple steps.
- For images or videos already on your computer, click Open File.
- To use your webcam live, click Webcam. Make sure your webcam is plugged in and working.
Ravana needs a face to swap onto your image or video. You can:
- Upload a photo of the face you want to use.
- Choose from sample faces included in the app.
You will see simple sliders and options for:
- How much the face changes
- Applying AR filters like hats or glasses
- Smoothing the video or edges
Adjust these until the result looks good to you.
- When you are happy with the swap, click Save.
- Choose if you want to save an image or video.
- Note the save location for easy finding later.
Yes, Ravana runs on your PC and does not send your images or videos online. All processing happens locally.
Yes, you can swap faces in photos or videos without a webcam. The webcam is only needed for live face swapping.
