1. Training a BERT model from scratch — comparing trade-offs with a fine-tuned baseline
2. Transformer decoder with backprop in pure Julia — standard library only
3. Transformer decoder in PyTorch — BPE implementation and tiny-shakespeare rambling
4. PDF annotation label prediction in Julia — KNN and graph embeddings
5. Reverse-mode autodiff graph in Rust — using Generic Associated Types
6. Minimax Chess AI in Rust — with JS frontend and WASM (group project)
