@Normalnoise At the moment, tokenless API is limit to 500 calls daily. However, token-based API calls have a monthly limit of 30,000.

Hi @Normalnoise, I work for IPinfo, and we genuinely appreciate being part of your project. Just for context:

• IPinfo.io provides 1,000 requests per day without a token.
• IPinfo provides 50,000 requests per month with a free tier token.
• Universal access to a globally distributed load-balancing network regardless of access tier.
• Higher accuracy is driven by latency-based IP geolocation methods. (Blog post)
• Bulk API endpoint, native request caching through all our official libraries, HTTPS/SSL encryption on all API interaction, and a free IP database that essentially allows infinite offline lookups.

In addition to offering generous no-tier and free-tier access, we also have incredible uptime hours and a community to support our users. I am not sure what value this failover code brings to the project. But please let us know if you have any issues with our services.
