I have completed the task.

The SECURITY_REPORT.md file has been added to the root of the repository.

  1. I ran dependency vulnerability checks via trivy, npm audit, and pnpm audit directly on the JavaScript monorepo components (apps/web and package.json configurations). I skipped scanning the backend Java codebase as it is deemed deprecated.
  2. I performed a Static Analysis Security Testing (SAST) scan using semgrep which found multiple common security flaws in the frontend and infrastructure codebase.
  3. The findings were documented logically inside SECURITY_REPORT.md, with issues categorized into Dependencies (Critical, High, Medium), Code Vulnerabilities (Path Traversal, Log Forging), and Infrastructure Risks (Docker Compose misconfigurations).

No code changes were made as requested ("identify only for now").
