This is a revised version of labour supply estimates (from Oct 7, 2025).

Revisions:

1/ In the new version, I’ve added health and ethnicity variables to the wage equation. Both turned out significant and with the expected signs.

2/ Leisure variable is modified, i.e. the weekly hours spent on care are subtracted from leisure time. This has greatly improved the model fit, particularly for the previously problematic household types – single women and couples with two LS flexible individuals.
In the initial populations the variable is called : careHoursProvidedWeekly.

3/ This version has 7 alrernatives instaed of 5.
0 ==> 0 hours (non-employment)
1==> 10 hours (6–15 hours/week)
2 ==> 20 hours (16–25 hours/week)
3 ==> 30 hours (26–35 hours/week)
4 ==> 38 hours (36–40 hours/week)
5 ==> 45 hours (41–49 hours/week)
6 ==> 55 hours (50+ hours/week)

Replaced LS estimates (Oct 8 version with 7 alternatives)
