Starting from setuptools v67.0.0, installing oasapi results in build errors, due to non-compliance with PEP440.
Indeed, the version specifier of python déclared in
setup.pyis invalid (>=3.6.*): wildcards are only allowed for version matching (==) and version exclusion (!=)See setuptools changelog and PEP440 specifications for more details.
