rust 1.86.0 was the oldest version I was able to compile with with the new heapless 0.9.1 version. |

https://github.com/rust-embedded/heapless/blob/06aa660e8c8f790bc64bc967c5c57446a32c55ec/Cargo.toml#L11 says 1.87. I'd match that as well. |
