get_storage_encryption_status queries to see if some level of encryption exists on disk.
Informing on encryption status is useful as it makes the data on a stolen device much harder to access, so this would empower users to take some preventative measure (if the status can be exposed via a dashboard).
Note: I am also suffering from issue #396, so developed this by unpacking the
.debinstaller.
