Python FastAPI PostgreSQL Kafka Redis Docker AWS pgvector

Building backend systems and developer tools. I spend most of my time on databases, event pipelines, and observability, the parts that keep systems honest under load. I build tools to solve my own problems first, then clean them up and ship them.

Published on PyPI. Contributing to open source. Currently deep in event-driven architecture and AI-assisted developer tooling.

Projects

  • Heron — Business event monitoring. Detects silent failures in payments, signups, and workflows. Pattern-based anomaly detection + real-time dashboard + Slack alerts. Python SDK on PyPI.

  • SafeStream — Real-time fraud detection. Kafka ingestion, optimized PostgreSQL schema, WebSocket updates, full CI/CD. TDD from day one.

  • Synqit — Git assistant in your terminal. Writes commit messages and PR descriptions. Built because writing them manually after every change gets old fast.

  • DepWatch — Scans a GitHub repo, extracts the dependency tree, and health-scores each package. Useful when auditing repos you've inherited or haven't touched in a while.

Stack

Databases PostgreSQL · Redis · MongoDB · pgvector
Backend Python · FastAPI · Flask · Django · REST · WebSockets
Event systems Kafka · Celery · async pipelines
AI / Search RAG · Hugging Face · vector databases · NLP
Infrastructure Docker · AWS · GitHub Actions · CI/CD

What I'm doing

  • Going deep on distributed systems and event-driven architecture
  • Contributing to Pandas and ArviZ
  • Writing about PostgreSQL, backend systems, and developer tooling
  • Building in public — more tools in progress

Writing

I write about what I'm building and learning — database internals, observability, AI tooling, system design.
