Rather than using a hard-coded version number in file and directory references, which may need to be manually updated in multiple locations throughout the file as Prometheus is upgraded, use a variable,
prom_version, to easily enable updates using an edit in a single location. This seems to fit in the spirit of "Optimizing Test Playbook".
