Translation: I must, for this reason, before all else, ask the reader that he put away this kind of prejudice and that he think seriously and critically about the proposed thing. (Or, less literally): Therefore, I first ask that the reader to put aside that preconception and consider this proposal seriously and critically. |

Translation: The question about an international language has occupied me for a long time already; but feeling myself neither more talented, nor more energetic, than the authors of all fruitlessly perished attempts, I for a long time limited myself only to dreaming and involuntary meditation above this afiar. But a few happy ideas, which appeared like fruits of this involuntary meditation, encouraged me for more working and caused me to begin trying, would it not prosper to me to systematically vanquish all barriers for the introduction into use a rational international language. (Or, less literally): The question of an international language had occupied me for a long time; but as I felt that I was neither more talented nor more energetic than those whose previous attempts all perished fruitlessly, I limited myself for quite some time to merely daydreaming about this concept. But a few happy ideas which came from this idle daydreaming encouraged me to begin work on a serious attempt, thinking that it would surely be fruitful to systematically dismantle the barriers to the introduction into wide use a truly rational and international language. |

Translation: Typing (also machine-writing) is writing text by keyboard, by machine. A more correct manner of typing consists in that one does not look at the keyboard, but only at the paper (in the case of a machine) or at the screen (in the case of a computer). There are methods for learning this system, either by direct instruction of an instructor, or by bookmethod, or by internet course or computer program. (Or, less literally): Typing (also called machine-writing) is writing text using a keyboard. The correct way to type is by not looking at the keyboard, and instead only looking at the paper (if using a typewriter) or the screen (if using a computer). There are several ways to learn typing; it can be taught by an instructor, or it can be self taught using either books or online courses, and with specialised software. |

Translation: Normaly I would have needed to run away with your money and ticket without saying to you anything else. But that would not help my friendly feelings, and I want to write goodbye to you. I feel the need to instruct you about the life. If at the age of 21 years you still do not understand the risks, of1 all those to whom you reveal yourself, someone must teach you. We randomly met again only three days ago. You knew nothing about me. However, your whole life you told to me and... showed to me all your money. Footnotes

(Or, less literally): The reader will probably have the suspicious preconception that this brochure will propose some sort of naive vision of utopia.
