Adopt a Keep-a-Changelog style CHANGELOG to track future releases. The first entry covers v0.5.0: Rename/Sync capability interfaces, the memfs Sub mutex fix, the memfs store performance work, the new staticcheck/gosec CI step, the Go version matrix, and the minimum-Go downgrade to 1.24.
