Replace the absolutely-positioned globe overlay, the vestigial grid column and the per-region CSS hacks with a clean left menu / right globe layout that no longer overlaps text or breaks on mobile. - Keep the rotatable globe and add drag inertia; drop the wheel zoom that trapped page scroll, and always show the full sphere so regions are highlighted rather than clipped into a square. - Show a stable Track selector: every track in the version is listed, and a track with no data for the current region is disabled instead of disappearing. Each track carries a fixed-height description so switching does not shift the layout. - Vary the globe graticule density by track (fine for high resolution, coarse for one degree).
