AresFix is a community-driven tool designed to restore chatroom functionality in Ares Galaxy by automatically updating the list of active chat servers.

This release provides the first stable version of the AresFix installer for Windows.

🔐 Security & Integrity

Only distributed release artifacts are checksummed.

Files generated locally during execution (such as ChatroomIPs.dat) are created dynamically on the user's system and therefore do not have a fixed or published hash.

🛠️ Usage

1. Download AresFix-1.0.0.exe
2. Right-click → Run as administrator
3. Follow the on-screen instructions
4. Launch Ares Galaxy — chatrooms should be restored

🔐 Integrity Verification

The SHA-256 checksum for the distributed binary is provided in the
SHA256SUMS.txt file attached to this release.

⚠️ Notes

• Do not close the application during installation
• Antivirus software may scan the executable on first run (normal behavior)
• The project is community-maintained and not officially affiliated with Ares Galaxy
