Porfolio

A modern Jekyll website | Clean, responsive, and easy to maintain

Features

  • GitHub-flavored Markdown support
  • Automatic syntax highlighting
  • Responsive design (mobile-first approach)
  • SEO-optimized structure
  • Built-in blog functionality
  • Customizable through _config.yml
  • RSS feed integration
  • Social media sharing capabilities

Quick Start

Prerequisites

  • Ruby ≥ 3.0
  • Bundler gem
  • Jekyll ≥ 4.3
  • Node.js & npm for assets compilation

No Local Ruby/Jekyll (Pixi)

If you do not have Ruby or Jekyll locally, use Pixi:

  1. Install Pixi: https://pixi.sh/latest/
  2. On Windows, install MSVC Build Tools:
winget install Microsoft.VisualStudio.2022.BuildTools

Enable the C++ build workload (MSVC and Windows SDK) in the installer.

  1. Verify compiler tools:
pixi run doctor-win
  1. From the project root run:
pixi run install-win
pixi run serve

install-win auto-installs Ruby with DevKit if needed, then installs gems and npm packages.

Then open http://127.0.0.1:4000

Optional:

pixi run serve-lan
pixi run build
pixi run clean

git clone https://github.com/your-username/your-repo.git cd your-repo bundle install npm install
