I saw the open letter on the website, and I would like to offer the signature of TeamNewPipe (or NewPipe e.V.) for the letter, if that is wanted. The lock-down affects us directly, we don't want to force our maintainers to give up their anonymity, and we also don't want to be at the mercy of Google to develop our app.
The e.V. is a legal association which supports NewPipe by taking care of donations and e.g. contracting developers for the app, or allowing contributors to get to conferences. We don't mind if we sign as TeamNewPipe or NewPipe e.V., whatever you prefer. I kept to the codeberg example and used the e.V. here.
