Hello, I'm Jamie 👋

I am a Climate Physicist & Research Software Engineer, specialising in Earth System science, high-performance data pipelines and open-source scientific software.

Currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Parcels group at Utrecht University, specifically on the VirtualShip project. This tool simulates measurements as if they are coming from real-life oceanographic instruments, facilitating research, student training and/or observing system simulation experiments. I maintain and develop the Python codebase.
