Connecting the Sensor

Any analog soil moisture sensor can be connected on PORT1 of the Wio Node. The GPIO5/ADC pin must be connected to the analog output of the sensor and the sensor must be powered from the port. Refer to the graphic Port Pinout for reference.

⚠️ NOTE: The maximum analog output of the connected sensor must not exceed 3.3V.

Connection for Firmware Flashing

Any 3.3V UART serial interface can be used to flash the Wio Node with the Thirst firmware. For this purpose the RX, TX and GND pins of the serial interface must be connected to the GPIO1/TxD, GPIO3/RxD and GND pins of PORT0 respectively. Refer to the graphic Port Pinout for reference.
