The Institution of Compilation Technologies, Hunan University (湖南大学编译技术研究中心) was established on May 14, 2025, under the leadership of Professor Feng Wang (王锋). The institution is oriented toward the innovation and applications in compilation technologies for next-generation computing systems.

Focusing on compiler technology as its core, the institution conducts research across several key areas. In AI frameworks, it explores deep learning compilers, automatic operator optimization, and heterogeneous execution. In high-performance computing, it investigates compiler optimizations, parallel program analysis, and performance enhancement techniques for emerging hardware architectures. In hardware–software co-design, the institution aims to bridge the full stack from algorithms to chips, enabling system-level optimization of performance and energy efficiency.
