Hi, y'all 👋

I'm a lifelong learner currently working on interpretable machine learning with Python and curating resources about AI explainability, fairness, and safety.

My current focus:

  • Building safer and trustworthy AI and ML systems
  • Donating time to tech-for-good causes like accelerating genomics research with cloud technologies and responsible AI practices
  • Using Cursor, Kiro, and GitHub Copilot to offload boilerplate and syntax, keeping my focus on system architecture and problems that AI assistants are not good at solving

I'm always happy to talk about and collaborate on:

  • making black-box models more trustworthy
  • efficiently incorporating AI coding assistants into your development workflow
  • finding time to keep learning while juggling a full-time job and caregiving responsibilities

  • I’ve been sky diving...once.
  • I love hackathons. I’ve planned 9 and participated in 5.
  • I’ve been a part of 2 iPhone apps.
    • I was part of a team that developed the Know:BRCA app that helped healthcare providers assess the risk of patients developing breast cancer.
    • On my own, I shipped the Night Explorer app, which helped kiddos who were scared of the dark verify their bedrooms were monster free.
