Maven recompiles .class files on every build, causing spurious git changes. Added target/, *.class, *.jar, *.war, *.ear, and hs_err_pid* to .gitignore and removed already-tracked backend/target/ files from the git index. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>
