Options

The Meteocat integration allows you to reconfigure settings without reinstalling it.

Go to:
Settings > Devices & Services > Meteocat > Configure

Available Options

• Update API Key and limits
  Change your API Key and update plan limits at the same time.

• Update limits only
  Modify API plan limits, keeping the same API Key.

• Regenerate assets
  Re-download assets files (towns.json, stations.json, variables.json, symbols.json, or stations_<town_id>.json).

  ℹ️ If the Meteocat API is unavailable, the integration will still start, and you can retry later.

• Update coordinates and elevation
  Change the default station coordinates and elevation that were set during the first setup. So you can use your location coordinates and elevation for more accurate sun and moon data.

• Force data update
  Force the data update for just one or even for multiple options at a time. Please be aware of your quota limits, each data update will consume an API call. If you force the data update for example for hourly and daily data at the same time ... this means 2 API calls, not just one.

Accessing the Options Menu

You can access the Options Menu in two ways, both inside the integration:

• System Options

  

  Once inside, you will see the following options:

  

• Force data update process

  

  Once inside, pick up the force update data option:

  

  A reminder about the quota consumption.

  

  Confirm you are aware of your quota limits and send the confirmation to continue with the force update process.

  

  Pick up the data you want to force the update. You can pick up one or multiple data to force the update at the same time.

  

  Confirm the data you want to refresh.

  

  Wait until the update process finished and the success message pops up. Then click the finish button.
