Mad Libs is a phrasal template word game where one player prompts others for a list of words to substitute for blanks in a story, before reading the – often comical or nonsensical – story aloud. The game is frequently played as a party game or as a pastime.
What it looks like:
In this version of Mad Libs, you will be playing through your local terminal with the support of Gerald, the giraffe (play to meet him!).
Set up Instructions
Download ZIP
unzip in download or desktop
Open terminal
cd to zip file
cd [click and drag file into terminal]
Type ' python3 ./madLibs.py ' into terminal
Follow prompt in terminal to start playing!
How to Play
Follow the prompt on the screen and enter a [verb, adverb, noun, number, adjective, etc.]
Click enter to input your word
Continue steps 1 and 2 until the end of the prompt
Your story will be completed and presented immediately after you finish the prompt
