SSE Provisioning — Telefónica Tech | VASS (Mar 2024 – Present, remote)

• SSE/SASE Architecture: Leading migrations and deployments for Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX) and Netskope in critical enterprise environments.
• Playbook Development: Creating and refining 90-day deployment playbooks to standardize and accelerate the adoption of Zscaler and Netskope technologies.

Automation & DevOps (My Passion)

• API-First Development: Constant development of custom programs using Python + REST/SCIM APIs to automate user lifecycles, audits, and reporting in Zscaler and Netskope.
• CI/CD & Versioning: Leveraging GitHub Actions for standardized pipelines and maintaining strict versioning rules to ensure reliable and scalable automation tools.

End-to-end implementation of a functional mobile core and access network.

• Hardware: Ettus USRP B210 (Software Defined Radio) for full-duplex RF processing.
• Stack: - 4G/LTE: Deployed srsRAN for eNodeB and EPC, achieving successful UE attachment and data plane connectivity.
  • 2G/GSM: Implemented Osmocom stack (NitB, BSC, BTS) for voice and SMS signaling.
• Development: Built custom Python scripts for signal monitoring and subscriber management.
• Core Concepts: Deep dive into PHY/MAC layers, modulation (OFDMA/GMSK), and signaling protocols (NAS, S1AP, RRC).
