Summary

add --max-hands to configure the MediaPipe hand tracking limit at startup
use the same value when allocating hand slots
extend CLI smoke tests for default, custom, and invalid values
update README and task_progress.md

python -m unittest discover -s tests
python -m py_compile lightsaber_mvp.py
