- read_image/write_image now try Pillow first, fall back to cv2 - add keyword-only `backend` param for explicit backend selection - add TYPE_CHECKING guard for numpy type annotations - remove numpy/opencv-python from runtime deps; add Pillow+numpy+opencv-python-headless to test extras - add test_read_image_backends_equivalent and test_write_image_round_trip - remove enscripten.yaml (no longer needed) Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>
