Changes

  • Merged PR #1 from bders: remote shooter observers no longer enter the shooting-animation window when no fire gesture played.
  • Synced the current local Networking Layer for GC2 package snapshot from My project (92).
  • Removed the PurrNet transport source and PurrNet demo package from the public repository and release package.
  • Excluded scene-generated Generated/ assets from the release package.

Validation

  • Built core and shooter generated projects with dotnet build --no-restore.
  • Exported GameCreator2NetworkingLayer_v1.0.8.unitypackage with Unity 6000.3.10f1.
  • Verified the release package includes Assets/Arawn/NetworkingLayerForGC2 and excludes Generated/, PurrNet, Demo, and .git entries.

Then import the new .unitypackage.

This release imports into the new Unity Asset Store aligned hierarchy:

PurrNet Transport

The PurrNet Transport integration is currently available only on the Unity Asset Store:

This GitHub release contains the transport-agnostic Game Creator 2 Networking Layer only. It excludes the PurrNet runtime transport, PurrNet editor setup, PurrNet demo scene content, and PurrNet-specific documentation.

Highlights

  • Synced the transport-agnostic GC2 networking layer with the latest runtime, editor, documentation, and Unity .meta files.
  • Added network visual scripting instructions and support files for abilities, dialogue, quests, animation states, gestures, dash, and variables.
  • Added updated animation, motion, variables, shooter, melee, quests, dialogue, inventory, stats, and traversal networking code paths.
  • Preserved the repository package-root structure while the release .unitypackage imports under Assets/Arawn/NetworkingLayerForGC2/.
