This commit improves the artifact evaluation README and fixes issues in the evaluation scripts. Most importantly, it fixes a conidition that would lead to the smoke tests not having their timeout applied. Additionally, it adds a check for correct permissions on the mounted local storage and improves error messages throughout the script.

This PR revises the artifact to adhere to the CAV 2026 artifact guidelines (see). The README is refactored to be more in line with the provided template.
A bug in the smoke tests script for TACO has been fixed that caused the 30s timeout to not apply.
Additionally, this PR adds a check for correct permissions on mounted local storage and a smoke test setup for ByMC.
