Add Claude Opus 4.8 metadata and strip deprecated temperature for new Opus models. Use xhigh adaptive thinking effort for Opus 4.7/4.8 while leaving extended-thinking requests unchanged. Size Anthropic 1M long-context probes with count_tokens before sending, targeting the real 950k tier with at most one resize and treating provider prompt-overflow as inconclusive. Cover the resume-fraud refusal false negative and the new long-context sizing behavior with focused tests.
