fundi is deployed using Microsoft Azure. Note that on occasions it appears that the Azure server is unable to access our database, thus preventing most of our functionality from working. This happens sporadically, and hence we have been unable to fix this. If this happens, please run the server locally using the .env file provided in the latest release (v5.0). It is advised that the production database is used to experience the full range of features. This is done by choosing StudyGroupCoordinator for the DB_NAME variable and PRODUCTION for the DEPLOYMENT variable in the .env file present in the root directory (see Database details below).
The database(s) for the project are located at the server team8.database.windows.net. These values must be present in a .env file in the project's root directory.
Environment variables are used for storing the database details and credentials. These are as follows:

These are the permanent entries in the test database that should not be altered.
NOTE: The creation of these entries may affect other tables, such as
memberships,invites,action_logetc. With this in mind, altering these entries should be explicitly avoided by checking for the id's of the permanent users, groups, etc. Alternatively, one could remove only what was added for testing purposes after each test (this is probably safer).
