… tests The database might have been tainted by previous integration tests sharing the same container, causing Flyway to find a non-empty schema without a schema history table. IsContainerRuntimeWorking temporarily sets testcontainers.reuse.enable=true to suppress Ryuk during Docker availability checks. The restore was in the try block, so any exception between setting and restoring (e.g. from reflection on DockerClientProviderStrategy.FAIL_FAST_ALWAYS or isDockerAvailable) would leave reuse enabled for the rest of the JVM lifetime. This could cause DevServices containers to not be stopped on shutdown, since ContainerShutdownCloseable skips container.stop() when environmentSupportsReuse() returns true. Move the restore to the finally block so it always executes. Assisted-By: Claude Code <noreply@anthropic.com>
