Severity: HIGH

Vulnerability: Dynamic inputs in API endpoint template literals were not URL-encoded (e.g., /search?q=${query}).

Impact: Failing to encode variables embedded in URLs can lead to HTTP Parameter Pollution (HPP), Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in reflected endpoints, and path traversal if inputs contain special characters like ?, &, or /.

Fix: Wrapped dynamic user inputs inside all API endpoints in src/services/apiService.js with encodeURIComponent(). Also resolved pre-existing linter warnings by prefixing unused variables in the same file with an underscore.

Verification: Verified via git diff that the changes correctly encode inputs without altering the endpoint structure. Ran pnpm run lint and pnpm test to ensure no regressions were introduced. Note: pre-existing lint and build failures present in the codebase are unrelated to this change.

Wrapped dynamic user inputs in `src/services/apiService.js` with `encodeURIComponent()` to prevent HTTP Parameter Pollution (HPP) and potential path traversal vulnerabilities.
Also prefixed unused variables in the same file with underscores to fix linter warnings.
