Migrate the workspace to edition 2024 and resolve the new clippy collapsible_if lints by adopting let-chains. Also bumps assorted alloy/prost/transitive deps in Cargo.toml/Cargo.lock.
Transitive via alloy-sol-macro; no published release drops it yet. Revisit when alloy migrates off proc-macro-error2.
