The empty type already round-trips through digest, box, binary, and inventory-list formats by omission, so the null type does not need to be explicit in persisted streams. Scopes WS1 (make ! / !@digest expressible, persistence untouched) plus the downstream tool-blob, langlang, and rumdl workstreams. https://claude.ai/code/session_018endFHvrkXzrrQnuGneAio
