This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to use The Extension Printer to disable Securly.
⚠ Disclaimer: Misuse of this exploit may lead to unintended consequences. Proceed at your own risk.
- Minimal internet connection required
- Securly extension installed
We are assuming that you have already copied the link and entered the password to get here. If not, click here.
- Go to the "ExtPrinter" tab. Under “All Extensions”, find “Securly (3rd ID)”.
- Click the “Disable” button.
- A popup will appear with a link. Copy and paste it into your browser’s address bar.
- Once redirected, enable “Allow access to file URLs”.
- Return to the ExtPrint3r tab and click on “The Print3r”.

Immediately press
CTRL + TABto switch to the Extensions page. - Spam-click the “Allow Access to File URLs” button.
- If your screen freezes, wait a few seconds. If your computer crashes, restart and retry from Step 1.
- If a popup appears stating “Securly (3rd ID) has been killed successfully”, congratulations!
- If a print dialog appears, simply click “Cancel”.
🎉 You have successfully disabled Securly!
⚠ Warning: This method is still in development and may cause webpage loading issues or Chromebook crashes.
- If you encounter any issues, check the troubleshooting section or open a GitHub issue.
- The Extension Printer is still actively being developed, so functionality may change over time.
- Try to have only 2 tabs open: the Instructions tab and the ExtPrint3r tab, along with any related tabs from the ExtPrint3r.
If you encounter any issues while using the exploit, try the following steps:

❄ The page isn't loading or freezes
- This is expected. Your Chromebook will most likely freeze for a few seconds after starting the exploit.
- If your page doesn't load after 5 minutes, close and reopen your Chromebook. Then restart the process.

🔃 The exploit doesn't work after restarting your device
- This is expected. Most Securly hacks don't work after restarting your Chromebook.

💥 Computer crashes during the process
- If your system crashes, restart the process. This can happen because of memory issues.
- Make sure your Chromebook is updated. Older systems can cause lag.
