Here's a whole slew of updates including some omnibus formatting and layout changes to update it into a slightly more modular format.
This removes the rules and session variables and puts them into an untracked local file so that users aren't editing the main script. .gitignore allows keeping the local vars file in the repo directory and it won't impact anything, so they can pull updates with ease.
