RebelChat do supports HipChat platform via official API more docs about hipcht infrostructure here

How it works

In order to connect your to HipChat team, you should get your Access Token and your XMPP credentials.

In a browser, visit the hipchat page at https://www.hipchat.com and login into your account
Visit API Access page at https://[your team name here].hipchat.com/account/api
Scroll to find the Create new token select all permissions you need and create a token.
On the left-hand side menu click XMPP/Jabber Info and visit page https://[your team name here].hipchat.com/account/xmpp
Use your Jabber ID under Account info section to get access to the HipChat account via RebelChat

Open RebelChat
click + button on the left-hand side menu bar.
click on HipChat icon
Fill in your
Jabber ID
Password
API Access Token
