Discord supposedly will no longer allow you to use its CDN as a file host

For images its okay to host on GitHub but resource packs, mods etc should really be downloaded from ModRinth |

that's going to be near-impossible for alpha versions or mods/packs that were just uploaded by some youtuber |

modrinth allows marking mods as betas and alphas. we just hope mod devs actually use it |

well even if it would work for some mods, this feels like overthinking it with a solution that depends on the authors (read: will only fix half of the problem) instead of just doing what we've been doing for ages |
