The arxiv API doesn't only return papers from the current day (I think from the past ~5 days). So if the script is run daily, it will duplicate papers. Adding a short check for the current date prevents this from happening.

That's odd... I've been using it for a while, and it always returns articles from the current day. Are you sure? Could you share the keywords you used and the duplicated results you found? |
