openclaw-eval is a tool that lets you compare different free AI language models. It tests each model’s skill with coding, Thai language use, and general tasks. This helps you see which model works best for your needs.
You do not need programming experience to use this software. It runs on Windows and provides clear results without confusing steps or commands.
Before you download, make sure your PC meets these needs:
- Windows 10 or newer (64-bit)
- At least 4 GB of free disk space
- 4 GB RAM or more
- Stable internet connection (for testing models)
- Basic mouse and keyboard use
This software runs without special hardware or software like Python or Node.js.
Follow these steps to install and run openclaw-eval on your Windows computer.

On the page, click the latest Releases tab. Find the latest Windows installer. The file name usually ends with .exe.
Save the file to a folder you can find easily, like Downloads or your Desktop.
Locate the downloaded .exe file and double-click it.
Windows might show a warning. This is normal for new software. Click Run or Yes to continue.
Follow the setup wizard's instructions:
- Accept the license terms.
- Choose your install location (default is fine).
- Click Install.
The installation takes a few minutes.
When installation finishes, select Finish to close the wizard and start the program.
If it does not start automatically:
- Click the Start button in the bottom-left corner.
- Type
openclaw-eval. - Click the app icon.
The program opens with a simple window showing the models it can test.
- Select the tests you want:
- Coding
- Thai language
- General use
- Click Run Tests.
- The app connects to each model on the OpenRouter platform.
- It runs the test questions and shows you results in a table.
- You can save results as a file for later review.
No technical skills are needed to understand the scores. The table shows which model did best in each category.
You can change some settings before testing:
- Choose how many test questions to run.
- Pick which language you want for Thai or general tests.
- Set time limits for each test.
All options appear clearly on the main screen.
If the app does not start or hangs:
- Make sure Windows is up to date.
- Restart your computer and try again.
- Check your internet connection.
If tests do not run properly:
- Confirm you selected at least one test.
- Try lower settings like fewer questions or longer timeouts.
If you see error messages, copy the text and check the GitHub issues page for solutions or raise a new issue.
This app works with OpenRouter’s free-tier language models. It lets you see how well each model handles:
- Writing and understanding code snippets.
- Understanding and generating text in Thai.
- General text tasks like answering questions or summarizing.
The software focuses on practical results you can use to pick the right AI model.
openclaw-eval sends test data only to OpenRouter’s servers. It does not store your personal information.
Your test results stay on your PC unless you choose to share them.
