Additional Details

  • At the time of the survey, Corvallis, Albany, and Bend operated transit freely. This might be just for residence or with ID, but I don't think we will worry about that complexity for the model development / estimation
  • Grants Pass has a commuter line between Grants Pass and Medford (Route 100), the fare structure for that line follows RVTD charging as opposed to Grants Pass (Josephine County). So if possible, that commuter line (Route 100) should be coded as RVTD, under their fare structure.
  • Grants Pass also has a half priced discount for Medicare card and Veterans.
  • Most had eFare support. LTD, Cherriots, RVTD, and Bend had "Umo" - Stored value card and app. TriMet had Hop - Stored value, also allows tap by credit/debit card and phone.
