OpenNPCX is an organization which specializes in reverse engineering & open sourcing the NPCX line of chips.

At the time of writing, some projects may not be publically accessible yet.
- website - Our website hosted at opennpcx.kxtz.dev
- dumpfw - A minimal Chrome EC fork made to get the EC on as fast as possible for it to be ready to dump memory (no AP bringup, no GPIO, etc, etc)
- rom - Decompilations of the NCPX roms. Each chip has it's own branch. For example:
NPCX7M6Fchip series ->rom-npcx7m6fbranch - emulator - Emulators for the NPCX chips. Each chip has it's own branch. Example:
NPCX7M6Fchip series ->emu-npcx7m6fbranch.

This does not mean repositories will not be open-sourced later in development. Our goal is to make most repositories open-source in the future unless restricted by legal requirements.
All projects, unless stated otherwise via a LICENSE file in the repository, are provided without a license. No rights are granted to copy, modify, redistribute, or use the source code until an explicit license is provided.
