WordPress DocumentCloud
The DocumentCloud WordPress plugin updated to support document, page, and note embeds/shortcodes from the new DocumentCloud beta. This release continues support for non-beta DocumentCloud embedding.
Installation instructions:
- download
wordpress-documentcloud.zipfrom the files below - go to the "Plugins" section of your WordPress website
- Click on "Add New" at the top, and then on the next page press "Upload Plugin"
- Upload the
wordpress-documentcloud.ziparchive and press "Install now". If you have an older DocumentCloud plugin installed, it will prompt you to overwrite it, which you should do by clicking "Replace current with uploaded". Otherwise, click "Activate now."
Once the plugin is installed, you should be able to use DocumentCloud embeds from the beta and the older platform. You can also use DocumentCloud shortcodes. If you wish to uninstall, deactivate the plugin (to revert to the old version, then go to add a new plugin again and search for "DocumentCloud" in the search bar instead of uploading. Installing that will restore the old functionality).
