- Push code to GitHub/GitLab
- Visit Vercel Dashboard
- Click "New Project" → Import repository
- Add environment variables
- Deploy!
Build Command: npm run build
Output Directory: .next
Install Command: npm install
Add all variables from .env.local to Vercel project settings.
Critical: Ensure COOP/COEP headers are set (middleware.ts handles this automatically)
# Check headers
curl -I https://your-domain.vercel.app

- Create branch:
git checkout -b feature/your-feature - Implement: Add files in appropriate directories
- Test: Run locally and check for errors
- Lint:
npm run lint(auto-fix available) - Commit: Use conventional commits (feat: add X)
- Push & PR: Create pull request
- TypeScript: Use interfaces, avoid
any - React: Functional components + hooks
- Naming: PascalCase (components), camelCase (functions)
- Comments: JSDoc for exported functions
Symptoms: Stuck on "Booting WebContainer..."
Solutions:
- Check COOP/COEP headers (F12 → Network → Headers)
- Use Chrome/Edge (not Firefox/Safari)
- Clear browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete)
- Check console for detailed errors
Symptoms: No "Recording" indicator
Solutions:
- Check console for rrweb errors
- Ensure
node_modules/rrwebexists - Refresh page to restart recording
Symptoms: 500 errors on /api/generate-task
Solutions:
- Use Mock Mode:
?mock=true - Check environment variables in
.env.local - Verify OpenAI API key has credits
- Check server logs for details
Symptoms: Works locally, fails on Vercel
Solutions:
- Verify all env vars added to Vercel
- Check build logs for errors
- Ensure
middleware.tsis in project root - Test with
npm run buildlocally first
