Release v1.1.3
This is a major update which overhauls the UI and configuration pages. This update also includes support for Ubuntu 24.04 systems. v1.1.3 is scheduled to release early next year.
Linux Support
CCA will support Ubuntu 24.04 and sub distros. The app has been tested on PopOS! and Zorin. Expect some issues as this is the first linux release.
It is recommended to install via zip. If you want to help test, use the .deb package. Expect issues with the .deb package.
GPU Configuration
GPU configuration will be migrated to allocation rather than dedicated layers. This makes it easier for new or inexperienced users to get the most performance out of their system. This new feature is very experimental and will have issues.
I don't have unlimited funds or GPUs to test with. If you have issues, consider making an issue report.
UI
The UI will be revamped for the next update. This includes changes to the sidebar, character/user creator, instruction page, character cards, and more.
The creator will combine user-templates and character cards into one configuration page. The configuration has also been simplified so there is less menus and overall confusion.
Chat view will be re-designed to have a custom side-bar, and new features. One of the new features is chat exporting and importing. Allowing you to transfer chats between devices.
The quick setup page will replace the general instructions on the home page. The setup page will guide the user through a step by step setup.
User Templates
User templates have been re-added. Expect some issues which will be patched over time.
