Hey, I'm Jorge 👋

Mechatronics Engineering graduate from IPN (UPIITA), based in Mexico City. I build things that sit at the intersection of hardware, software. Interested in IoT systems, embedded firmware, data pipelines and AI agents. I'm drawn to problems where you have to understand the full stack to solve them well.

Currently looking for my first industry role in software development, data science, IA development or IoT/embedded systems.

🔭 What I'm working on

  • [] Open Weather Platform: distributed IoT weather platform with ESP32 sensor nodes, MQTT pipeline, time series forecasting and open data integration. Currently on development of the server side.
  • [] Pocket Sage & Iris Project: a local AI assistant running on a resource-constrained SBCs. Iris project aims to develop a framework for LLM tool accessibility.
  • [] Creating my user-friendly portfolio in Github Pages.
