Factions

There are two factions inside Space Colony:

The Empire of Man: The Emperor rose too power in the midst of chaotic war. He liberated planets and built a successful government rather than the rapid colonisation that other groups were performing and as such his forces quickly dominated any others in the known universe. The Empire now strives to control the entire universe and unite all of humanity but many others wish to take power for themselves.

The Pirate Conglomerate: In answer the the rise of the emperor the smaller groups who were quickly being eradicated banded together to form a loosely connected conglomerate who are fighting to defeat the emperors forces so that they may resume their warmongering with each other as they vie for ultimate control.
